China's five-yearly political reshuffle enters its final stage when the annual parliamentary sessions begin on Saturday, but all eyes will be on proposed changes to the constitution after Beijing revealed it will end the presidential term limit, paving the way for Xi Jinping to stay on beyond 2023 – a controversial move with far-reaching implications.

A new cabinet and other top-level officials will also be unveiled after more than two weeks of meetings involving some 5,000 lawmakers and political advisers in Beijing. The government is also expected to announce a major shake-up of ministries to meet new challenges and tighten the Communist Party's grip on state affairs.

These stories and videos offer the context and insights to help make sense of these changes and how they could affect China – and you.
