China's Belt and Road Initiative: Xi makes headway during Europe trip

Italy has become the first G7 nation to sign up for China's multibillion-dollar "Belt and Road Initiative". Deals worth up to US$22.64 billion were signed during Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to Rome, including port management agreements with "strategic importance" to China.
